Eastern Veil Nebula

The Eastern Veil Nebula is a fragment of the larger Veil Nebula supernova remnant, originating from a star with 20 times the mass of our Sun, which underwent a supernova event 10,000 years ago. If fully visible to the naked eye, the Veil Nebula complex would span six times the diameter of the full moon. This celestial wonder is located 2,400 light-years away within the Cygnus constellation and is showcased in HOO (False Color Image) with 5 hours and 25 minutes of exposure time.
